The newly acquired vehicles being given outThe government has handed over 18 new vehicles to Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) regional coordinators to strengthen the monitoring and supervision of government-funded development programmes across the country.The fleet, comprising Toyota Hilux pickups, minibuses and Isuzu vehicles, is expected to improve the coordinators’ mobility as they oversee programmes including the Parish Development Model (PDM), Emyooga, infrastructure and construction projects, and other government interventions.The vehicles were handed over at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds, with OWC Transport Officer Major Moses Muwakanya urging the recipients to prioritise road safety, proper vehicle management and regular maintenance in line with manufacturers’ guidelines.Maj.
