Three-Strong Partnership Buys Into Mischief Colt For $2.6-Million

Wait 5 sec.

A colt by leading general sire Into Mischief (Hip 121) was the first to cross the $2-million threshold in Tuesday's second and final session of the Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale, selling to a partnership that includes Spendthrift Farm, Whisper Hill's Mandy Pope, and Delta Squad's Josh Isner for $2.6-million early in the session.Bred in Kentucky by Stonestreet Farms and consigned by Warrendale Sales, the colt is a son of GSW Vault (Jump Start), a mare purchased by Stonestreet for $850,000 at Keeneland November in 2021.That mare, who earned nearly $500,000 on the track, is a half-sister to GISW Mirth (Colonel John) who was herself a $1.05-million broodmare to Katsumi Yoshida from the Fasig-Tipton November Sale in 2020. … and just like that we have another millionaire at @FasigTiptonCo!
