Qrendi FC Youth Nursery is mourning the loss of Gary Schembri, who passed away aged just 18 following an illness.Gary was a valued member of the club’s U17 team, with Qrendi FC paying an emotional tribute to the young player.“Gary was a valued member of our U17 team, and he will forever remain part of the Qrendi FC Youth Nursery family,” the club wrote.The club also shared a photograph capturing one of Gary’s final moments alongside his teammates, describing it as a memory that will always hold a special place in their hearts.“Our deepest condolences go to Gary’s family, friends, teammates, and everyone who knew and loved him,” Qrendi FC said. “Rest in peace, Gary.
