AUDTHB Holds Bullish BiasAUSTRALIAN DOLLAR / THAI BAHTFX_IDC:AUDTHBYES_GroupYesterday Recap Yesterday, AUDTHB closed at 23.36 at the Thai market close. The AUD continued to receive support from the RBA’s hawkish stance, as the RBA indicated that further rate hikes this year remain possible if inflationary pressures remain elevated. Meanwhile, the direction of the USD and global market sentiment remain key factors influencing AUDTHB. Fundamental Analysis – August 14, 2026 AUDTHB is expected to trade within a range with a slight bullish bias in the short term, supported by a Risk-On environment and a relatively low VIX, which tends to support risk-sensitive currencies such as the AUD. Meanwhile, the direction of USDTHB remains an important factor influencing AUDTHB. The market is also monitoring the RBA’s monetary policy outlook after the central bank kept its policy rate at 4.35% at its latest meeting and signaled that inflation and interest-rate risks remain tilted to the upside. If the RBA adopts a more hawkish stance, it could provide further short-term support for the AUD. Meanwhile, the market continues to monitor the slowdown in the housing and credit sectors, as well as Risk Sentiment and the Chinese economic outlook, which remain important drivers for the AUD. In addition, the Thai stock market opened higher in line with US equities overnight. This could support the Thai baht and put additional downward pressure on AUDTHB in the short term. Technical AUDTHB is expected to trade within a range with a slight bullish bias in the short term, as the price remains above the upward trendline and continues to form Higher Lows. The price has recently moved higher to test Resistance at 23.45. If the price breaks out and sustains above this zone, it could continue higher toward the OB zone at 23.47–23.49. However, if the price fails to break through the resistance, profit-taking pressure could lead to a pullback toward Support at 23.42 and 23.39, respectively. As long as the price holds above these support levels, the short-term bullish structure remains intact. However, a break below 23.39 would indicate weakening bullish momentum. Bias: Sideways to Bullish Resistance: 23.45–23.47 Support: 23.42 / 23.39 Target: 23.47–23.49 Cut Loss: 23.38
