A DoorDash driver was recorded on a home security camera emptying what appears to be a colostomy bag onto a homeowner’s lawn before wiping his hands on his shirt and continuing on to make a food delivery. The footage shows the driver, wearing a red shirt, standing on a paved walkway next to the grass when the incident happened. The video shows a dark red, liquid-like substance spreading across the lawn and part of the sidewalk after the driver emptied the bag. Text on the video states that the homeowner has not been reimbursed for the cleanup and that DoorDash has not responded to their call. The clip was shared in a reaction video by TikTok creator @flavoryoucansee, that received over 623k views on the platform. In the video, the creator reacts to the security footage and shares his own views on food delivery services. The creator also questioned the accountability system used by delivery companies. He said, “Like, the only thing holding them accountable is the sticker that the restaurant puts on your food.” He was referring to the tamper-proof seals that some restaurants place on food packaging before handing it off to drivers. Other DoorDash customers have raised separate concerns, including a driver contacting her after a no-contact delivery. He ended the video by saying he would rather get his own food than order delivery. He said, “Nah, yeah, yeah, I’m good. I pass.
