A Florida man bought a full Puerto Rican meal from a personal chef he found on Facebook Marketplace, and shared the entire experience on TikTok. The video, posted by user @itsgabrielrivera, shows the food handoff, the payment, and a taste test of every dish. Gabriel, who has about 2.1 million followers on TikTok, labeled the video a “POV” style clip with on-screen text reading, “POV: Ordering food off of Facebook Marketplace.” It shows him picking up the order directly from the chef’s home. The chef, wearing a white t-shirt and an apron with a Puerto Rican flag design, walked out to the car with two bags of food. Gabriel paid him $80 in cash for the meal. He described the meal as “steak borrachino with wings and Puerto Rican fries.” He also held up a bright blue-green drink and called it “a pineapple lemonade.” After taking a sip, he said, “Definitely tastes like lemonade, but I don’t really taste the pineapple.” He then squeezed lime over the fries and took his first bite on camera.
