After over a month off air, Nation Media Group, Uganda, has this evening commenced its resumption of operations in phases.A statement released by NMG Chairman Joe Muganda reveals that services are to return in phases on the different NMG channels.NMG, which comprises NTV Uganda, The Daily Monitor, Spark TV, and Dembe FM, among others, was shut down a month ago following a security operation.Uganda’s NTV and Monitor shut down, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba says they will re-open only with his permissionIts closure provoked mixed reactions globally, and its resumption has been widely welcomed.Nation Media Group Uganda is pleased to announce the resumption of its operations.
