This makes me angry on behalf of the patient more than anyone. He will be SEVERELY immunocompromised, and complications will set in hard and fast. I have seen people in their early 20s die from complications of bone marrow transplants. If this were my loved one, I wouldn’t trust anyone who isn’t a medical professional around him, much less some rando off the street.
