Yea, it’s genuinely a great concept. It’s obviously not for everyone, but if you’re retired or have a job that lets you work from anywhere it’s perfect. My parents are mostly travelling overseas and going to all the places they’d wanted to see so they don’t house-sit, but apparently there’s a lot of people who both house-sit and have their house available and it’s a cute community on some of those websites. It makes lots of sense and it’s a genuine win-win. Perfect for that demographic who are well off enough to have a nice place but not rich enough to not care about paying for house sitting etc. which is actually a pretty massive group of people. Cool concept. Definitely something I’d do when I retire (in 30 years 😂)
