GBPAUD — Fading the Retest [Quantum Algo]

GBPAUD — Fading the Retest [Quantum Algo]GBP/AUDOANDA:GBPAUDQuantum-AlgoGBPAUD broke down from the 1.935 highs, sold off through the range, and bounced back up to retest the descending moving average and the supply band it lost on the way down. Price tagged the retest at 1.9213 and rolled over, firing the Short. This is a continuation short: fade the pullback into resistance, ride the resumption of the down-leg toward the prior lows. Why this setup works — three confluences: Retest of broken support as resistance. The MA and supply band that price fell through is now overhead resistance. The bounce ran straight back into it and stalled — a textbook retest-and-reject, with the Sell printing on the tap rather than a guess. Momentum rolling over. The Tidal Force read shows money flow negative as price hit the zone — the oscillator confirming the rejection rather than fading strength. Structure and momentum are pointing the same way. Positive, defined R:R. The trade is structured at 2.11:1 off the panel — reward clears risk comfortably before a single candle prints. Stop parked above the retest high, targets mapped into structure below. Trade management: Entry: 1.92129 (retest of supply / MA) SL: 1.92919 (above the retest high) TP1: 1.90802 — take 50% off, move stop to breakeven TP2: 1.89608 — 100% exit R:R: 2.11:1 Invalidation: A 2h close back above 1.92919. That reclaims the broken zone and the MA — the retest becomes a breakout, sellers lose control, thesis dead, just out. The lesson: Broken support becomes resistance — and the retest of it is one of the cleanest continuation entries in the book. Instead of chasing the breakdown at the lows, you wait for price to pull back into the level it lost, let it reject, and enter with your stop tucked just above. Add momentum confirmation rolling the same direction and defined R:R that pays, and you've got a trade where the structure, the flow, and the math all agree before you commit. Signal fired.
