European Parliament President Roberta Metsola has marked the 82nd anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising, paying tribute to those who fought and died for freedom during one of World War II’s most significant resistance movements.The Warsaw Uprising, launched in 1944, saw the Polish underground resistance attempt to liberate Warsaw from German occupation.
