Tour is an upgrade, not an event ticket.Nevertheless, it is one of Universal’s most useful options for visitors determined to complete the haunted-house lineup in a single night. Halloween Horror Nights 35 features 10 houses, and the tour removes much of the uncertainty involved in moving between them.Universal’s current Halloween Horror Nights extras page continues to describe the product, but its booking inventory shows no available standard R.I.P. Tour packages. These limited-capacity events offer shorter haunted-house waits than regular HHN nights, all-you-care-to-enjoy select food and nonalcoholic drinks, free self-parking, and the unusual opportunity to wear an approved costume.The second date remains listed through Universal’s Premium Scream Night page, subject to availability.The August sellout is significant because it removes the first chance to experience the complete anniversary event. Universal has positioned HHN 35 around 10 haunted houses, including Stranger Things 5, Sinners, Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, and a confrontation between returning characters Jack and Dr. Oddfellow.Premium Scream Night was never designed as the economical choice. Tickets began around $400 per person. Its appeal lies in reducing the amount of a limited evening surrendered to queues—a benefit buyers clearly valued despite the price.That demand was not entirely unexpected. The affected products were:Rush of Fear Pass with ExpressFrequent Fear Pass with ExpressFrequent Fear Plus Pass with ExpressUltimate Frequent Fear Pass with ExpressThe company said it made the change while evaluating its offerings “in an effort to provide the best Halloween Horror Nights experience for all Guests.” Universal has not released data showing how the discontinued bundles affected Express or standby lines.Standard multi-night passes went on sale July 21, beginning with the $229.99 Rush of Fear Pass and reaching $449.99 for Ultimate Frequent Fear. Those products provide repeat admission on eligible nights, but none includes Express.Single-night Express has not been eliminated. Guests can still purchase it separately for a selected date, with prices and availability varying by night. A frequent visitor who wants Express repeatedly must now make—and pay for—that decision one night at a time.Credit: Inside The MagicGuests Still Have Ways to Get Ahead of the LinesThe remaining strategy is not simply “stand and wait.”Universal is expanding Stay & Scream for HHN 35, allowing eligible guests to begin entering at least three haunted houses at 2 p.m. Visitors need valid daytime admission to Universal Studios Florida—or the separately sold Scream Early ticket—plus valid HHN admission for that evening.That produces a potential four-and-a-half-hour advantage before the event’s scheduled 6:30 p.m. opening.
