Yet again, a warning has been issued for Walt Disney World Resort guests amid dangerous weather conditions in Central Florida on Wednesday. The Melbourne, Florida, office of the National Weather Service (NWS) issued an Extreme Heat Advisory from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on July 29 for Volusia, Lake, Seminole, Orange, and northern Brevard counties.Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, Disney Springs, Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park, and all Walt Disney World Resort hotel properties are in the affected areas. The heat index (also known as “real feel” or “feels like” temperatures) is expected to reach 110 degrees Fahrenheit, while the actual temperature is expected to be in the low-to-mid 90s.This is the third time this week, following multiple instances earlier in the summer, that the National Weather Service has issued a high-temperature warning for Walt Disney World Resort guests. However, the Melbourne, Florida, office said that lower temperatures are expected to begin on Thursday, though they will be accompanied by rainstorms and showers, with the potential for a few strong storms over the next several days.7/29 | One more day of unusually hot conditions with peak heat index values between 105-110 degrees.
