Motor City is an action thriller about an excon, played by Alan Ritchson (Reacher), who was framed for a crime he did not commit in 1977. Now that he is finally free, John Miller is out for blood. The film’s Rotten Tomatoes score (66 per cent critics, 64 per cent audience) is more or less what you would expect from what looks like a relatively forgettable film. Just like Reacher, Ritchson’s physicality carries this movie. The critics who liked it praised the raw violence.
