I’ve been using 1.25mg oral minox for a year and spiro 50mg for 4 months now, but for the past year I have lost half the hair on my head from shedding. I have an AGA diagnosis and minoxidil just made my hair 10x worse. I got my lab results back, which showed high testosterone and very high androgen levels. My derm said to go to an endocrinologist and she suspects I could have PCOS. Idk what high androgens mean and how to fix them. She also said that the minox and spiro are probably not working bc of the testosterone and androgen issue, so if I get back to normal levels, then the minox and spiro may be more effective at regrowing hair. Basically I need advice on what to do. Is there just no hope of ever regrowing my hair back? My hair is the worst it has ever been, and my whole scalp is visible now. I am shedding 200* hairs daily.
