Health Minister Ian Borg has praised Malta’s Telemedicine Centre, revealing that 70% of patients who use the service receive the medical advice they need without having to leave their homes. It also manages approximately 90,000 phone calls monthly, including enquiries about other Primary HealthCare services.Malta’s telemedicine service is designed to provide medical guidance for non-urgent health concerns, while the 1400 helpline helps people determine whether they need emergency treatment.Borg thanked the centre’s management, healthcare professionals and staff for their dedication, pledging continued investment in innovation and more accessible healthcare services.Have you ever used Malta’s telemedicine service?•
