BTC Bounced Back Above 64,400 - Reclaimed The Floor.Bitcoin / US DollarCOINBASE:BTCUSDvirDeStateraBTC Bounced Back Above 64,400 - Reclaimed The Floor. After Wednesday's rejection, BTC turned and bounced hard overnight, reclaiming 63,796 and then the 64,400 floor it had lost, trading 64,588. This is the strongest of the three recoveries - BTC is the only one back above the level it broke. But the hourly surface is still bottom-quartile and short-biased, the 4H reads disbelief, and an NR7 is compressing on both timeframes. A reclaim the conviction surface does not yet believe. Today is also the BTC Thursday gate. Neutral. Resistance: 64,759.19 - first level overhead Key resistance: 64,999-65,033 - the shelf Current price: 64,588 Support: 64,400.89 - reclaimed, the floor to hold Key support: 63,796.21 - first support below Structural floor: 63,006.14 - the range low Two paths from here: It holds 64,400 and the reclaim sticks. If BTC bases above the reclaimed floor and the NR7 resolves up, the breakdown was a two-day bear trap and 64,999 comes back into view. Reclaiming what you lost is the first step of a failed breakdown. The reclaim fails and it is another lower high. Bottom-quartile conviction into resistance with disbelief on the 4H is the same stretched setup that has failed all week. A loss of 64,400, then 63,796, puts 63,006 back in play. The surface has to confirm. BTC did the hardest thing of the three and reclaimed its floor, but the conviction surface has not followed, and the NR7 says the resolution is close. 64,400 holding turns the breakdown into a trap; losing it again makes this another lower high.
