ScreenshotIndiana Fever guard and rising WNBA star Sophie Cunningham broke her silence Wednesday night after Seattle Storm minority co-owner Celeste Keaton allegedly berated two teenage girls for supporting Cunningham’s courageous defense of women’s sports. As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the girls attended Tuesday’s Fever-Storm game wearing XX-XY Athletics shirts and carrying signs thanking Cunningham for standing up for female athletes. One sign read, “Thank You Sophie for speaking up for girls!”According to independent journalist Brandi Kruse, who interviewed the teens, Keaton approached them, called them “f***ing insane,” and launched into a profanity-laced tirade, leaving at least one of the girls in tears. One of the teens, Ahnaleigh Wilson of Wenatchee, has previously spoken out after losing to a biological male identifying as female in a Washington state track meet as an eighth-grader. These are not radical activists. These are high school girls standing up for fairness in women’s sports.WATCH:Last night, @seattlestorm co-owner Celeste Keaton cursed out two teen girls for wearing @xx_xyathletics shirts, calling them “f*cking insane.” One of them was left in tears. I tried to get security involved and was told I should email the front office. pic.twitter.com/Qi8TcfRtYB— Brandi Kruse (@BrandiKruse) July 29, 2026The alleged abuse did not stop there. Kruse said Seattle players gave the girls thumbs-down gestures while other hostile fans booed and mocked them. Video also captured a grown man demanding that arena employees “take the trash out” while referring to the young Cunningham supporters.Remember: Their supposed crime was peacefully supporting biological women in women’s sports.Footage obtained by @FoxNews shows the young Sophie Cunningham fans also face a confrontation with a grown man and a woman with him. The man shouted “take the trash out” to arena staff, in reference to the girls and the other supporters with them. https://t.co/0jaSjUmMbn pic.twitter.com/MjwfUyHmb4— Jackson Thompson (@JackThompsonFOX) July 29, 2026Cunningham responded to the controversy in a post on X:“I truly believe there is a safe space and love for EVERYBODY. Biological girls, biological boys, trans women, and trans men. Everyone is welcome at my table! You can disagree and still be kind.“Bravo to those girls for standing up for what they believe. You’ll be hearing from me soon — yay for gifts.“Truly embarrassing of the co-owner. Unfortunately shows the type of leader she is.”I truly believe there is a safe space and love for EVERYBODY. We apologize that this happened. Everyone who attends a Storm game deserves to feel welcome, and we remain committed to creating an inclusive environment where every fan is treated with respect.”Of course, the so-called party of “tolerance” once again showed how quickly its supposed compassion disappears when young women dare to challenge the radical transgender agenda.Cunningham, however, refuses to be intimidated. The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Cunningham doubled down after left-wing activists attacked her for saying young girls should not be forced to compete against biological males.“I said what I said,” Cunningham told reporters. “I think it’s kind of common sense.”Cunningham has repeatedly made clear that she harbors no hatred toward transgender individuals. Her position is simply that female sports and locker rooms should remain protected for biological women and girls. The public appears to agree. Cunningham’s newly released Adidas shoes sold out within hours after she refused to back down to the woke mob.The post Rising WNBA Superstar Sophie Cunningham TORCHES Seattle Storm Co-Owner After She Curses Out Teenage Girls for Supporting Biological Reality: ‘Truly Embarrassing… Unfortunately Shows the Type of Leader She is’ appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
