Maruti Suzuki has started commercial production at its fourth plant in Gujarat. This new facility will produce the battery electric vehicle, the e VITARA. The Hansalpur plant raises total production capacity to one million units annually. Suzuki plans further expansion with a new Sanand plant by 2029. The company aims for four million units of annual production by the 2030s.
