My mom had a major health emergency last year and after a couple months in the hospital and rehab, she was desperate to go home. She lives alone and doesn't have anyone near by who can help as much as she needed. Medicare doesn't cover shit so she said she'd hire someone. I did some research and it wouldn't cost 10k+ each month and apparently I was pretty close. (She might have 10k to her name.) It's sad though.
