Luis Gabriel Rey propelled the Liga MX All-Stars in front after just nine minutes but the hosts would respond three times before the interval. Son-Heung Min netted a pair of goals in a three-minute period to give the MLS’ best a 2-1 lead before Zinckernagel extended the hosts advantage to 3-1 before the break.
