India's wealth creation story is becoming increasingly entrepreneurial. Nearly two-thirds of the wealth creators continue to actively run their businesses rather than simply inheriting wealth. The digital economy has emerged as a powerful wealth creator, with nearly half of the self-made wealth creators below the age of 40 coming from sectors such as fintech, e-commerce, broking and edtech. Interestingly, most fortunes are still built around one outstanding business.
