When Samsung introduced the Galaxy AI-powered Now Brief feature with the Galaxy S24 series last year, it seemed like a great idea. However, its real-world execution left much to be desired. Thankfully, Samsung listened to user feedback and significantly improved the feature this year with the Galaxy S26 series. Now, the company has shown that it is serious about making Now Brief even better by adding Netflix integration.Netflix has announced a partnership with Samsung to bring Now Brief integration to the Galaxy Z Flip 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. Now Brief on these devices can suggest relevant Netflix movies and TV shows based on the user's device usage and schedule.When a Netflix suggestion card appears in Now Brief, tapping it resumes playback from where you left off. Recommendations also adapt to the context. For example, you may see Travel Ready recommendations when you are about to travel.Moreover, the Samsung Finder feature in One UI 9.0 now lets you search for a title and quickly find related Netflix content. This means you can find content on Netflix without manually opening the Netflix app.Now Brief already displays relevant information from non-Samsung apps, including Spotify, WhatsApp, and YouTube. With Netflix integration, the feature is becoming even smarter. Hopefully, Samsung will eventually add support for Gmail and more travel, audio, and video streaming services.
