A.P. government sanctions ₹32 crore to boost healthcare infrastructure in Rayachoti constituency - The HinduPublished - July 31, 2026 06:38 pm IST - RAYACHOTIThe State government on Friday (July 31, 2026) sanctioned ₹32 crore for strengthening healthcare infrastructure, which includes critical care services, rural health centres, and hospital development works in Rayachoti Assembly constituency of Annamayya district.According to a press release here, Minister of Transport, Sports, and Youth Services Mandipalle Ramprasad Reddy said that the major allocation is ₹23.75 crore for the construction of a 50-bed Critical Care Block attached to the existing 100-bed Area Hospital at Rayachoti. The facility will be equipped with intensive care units, advanced medical equipment, laboratory services, and specialised medical and nursing staff to provide emergency and critical care treatment.An allocation of ₹25 lakh has been made for renovation and repair works at the Ramapuram Primary Health Centre, while ₹30 lakh has been sanctioned for construction of a new Homoeopathy building at Lakkireddipalli under the AYUSH Department.The Minister said that the six Rural Health Centres in Chinnamandem, Galiveedu, Lakkireddipalli, Rayachoti, and Sambepalli mandals received ₹81 lakh for infrastructure development under the National Health Mission initiative.
