Dramatic BTS shots from Malta’s latest filming locations have emerged… and they’re as explosive and dusty as you’d expect from a series about the last moments of Pompeii.Pompeii: Out Of Time is a new National Geographic and Disney+ docudrama, releasing this Friday 31st July, exploring the infamous destruction of the ancient Roman city in 79 AD. According to production details released online, around 65% of it was filmed in Malta. The three-part production is narrated by Hollywood’s very own Tom Hiddleston, and some 167 Maltese crew members were involved in the production across different sectors.
