Palnadu District Collector pushes for online allotment of industrial park plots - The HinduPublished - July 29, 2026 06:31 pm IST - NARASARAOPETPalnadu District Collector Kritika Shukla has directed the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) to make newly developed plots in industrial parks available online for public allotment at the earliest to accelerate industrial growth in the district.The direction was issued at a meeting of the District Industrial Export Promotion Committee (DIEPC), chaired by the Collector at the Collectorate in Narasaraopet on Wednesday.The committee reviewed the Action Taken Report on decisions taken at its previous meeting. District Industries Centre General Manager S. V. Suresh, the committee convener, presented the status of implementation.The Collector also reviewed industrial approval applications processed through the Single Desk Portal. Officials informed the meeting that all applications were being disposed of within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.Ms. Shukla reviewed the progress of APIIC industrial parks, ongoing infrastructure and civil works, and industrial units under implementation in the district. She also assessed the implementation of the Micro and Small Enterprises Cluster Development Programme (MSE-CDP), the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP), PM Vishwakarma, and the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) programme.She approved subsidies sanctioned for various industrial units by the recent State-level committee. The committee also reviewed the registration of new Udyam MSME units and the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board’s skill survey covering 3,422 units.
