My part is getting wider and I hate how much mental space it takes up

Wait 5 sec.

I don’t have any major hair loss but I definitely have a widened hair part that has gotten under my skin. It’s difficult to ignore that I find myself constantly looking at it in the mirror, adjusting my hair before leaving the house, and feeling anxious when bright lights shine at the top of my head. It was never an issue to just throw my hair up. Now even a ponytail looks thinner. What is driving me crazy is that no matter what I choose, it involves doing something big. The styling products help me look better but they can’t solve my hair related anxiety problem. Even though minoxidil is the first solution that comes to mind for many women with hair thinning, I am honestly scared of investing in a treatment before knowing all the details. At the same time I plan to make an appointment with a dermatologist and undergo some tests, since I understand that hair loss may have multiple causes. Still if you had noticed the widening part what would have been worth your attention and what would you have done earlier? submitted by /u/Particular-War-612 [link] [comments]
