Stuart Maynard took over York City on 28 August last year with York on just six points from the opening four games and went on to deliver the club's first league title in decades with a record-breaking 108 points. Crazy to see the co-chairman trying to justify sacking the manager who achieved that. It comes across as a bit of toy-throwing after one of the greatest seasons in the club's history.
