My husband and I met doing this kind of work! It was really fun and we enjoyed talking to the people who came in. At that time almost all of them were veterans. Incredible stories, but very upsetting that this was where they ended up after all the promises that were made to them and all the sacrifices they made. To this day I can't even listen to a politician go on about supporting our troops.
