Our insurance company just made me pay to have the entire in ground pool completely fenced or they were going to drop me as a customer (keep in mind I have 2 homes and multiple vehicles all bundled together so it's not exactly chump change they are willing to turn down over this type of stuff) they told me in no uncertain terms that it was a fence or I couldn't buy insurance anymore I called to ask about if I needed any extra coverage in case someone fell in and kinda screwed myself We saved up and did all the work ourselves bought a bobcat and rented jackhammers as needed as well as a bigger excavator all in it took me and my dad and a few friends probably 5 years of working on it after work and few days off work and working on the pool 12 hours a day instead and it took all that time and probably costs 150k by the time the pool, equipment, concrete etc was all bought and done but it's super nice and freaking huge. Someone that hasn't made the first step towards it after years of fantasizing deff isn't going to keep it nice
