Former SSA employee, I worked primarily in KY and in many FMAX cases there, there wasn’t enough to pay 50% in aux benefits and the child ended up with only a small amount like 12.00 and not 1/2 of the NH’s PIA…I don’t miss those conversations, ‘why is their check so low and my neighbor’s kid gets 1/2? Who’s gonna pay for my kid? ‘
