My view before the FOMC rate decision!US SPX 500OANDA:SPX500USDGeOrgeLubarskiOne of Richard Wyckoff’s core principles is Effort vs. Result. In my view, we’re seeing a textbook example of it. The higher-timeframe trend remains bullish, but internally the market looks like it’s searching for a stronger demand zone before attempting another push to new highs. During the New York session, buyers managed to move price higher but only by committing significant effort. What does that tell me? 1. Sellers are active. 2. Yes… sellers are definitely active. I could be wrong, but that’s what I see in the chart , Another trader may interpret it differently, and that’s completely fair. My expectation is for price to continue drifting lower into tomorrow’s FOMC rate decision. Hopefully, that will bring us into an attractive area where buyers can step back in and continue the broader uptrend.
