Horror Otome Game 9 RIP Sequel Arrives Before Halloween

Wait 5 sec.

Idea Factory International set the English release date for the horror otome game 9 RIP Sequel and confirmed details about what we’ll see in the physical standard edition of the game. It will appear both digitally and physically on October 27, 2026. This is about a year after the September 2025 Japanese debut.  Standard and limited editions of 9 RIP Sequel will appear, with IFI’s Online Store already putting up product pages for both. Prices weren’t mentioned for either of those yet. We also don’t know what will be in the collector’s edition release. However, we do know the standard copies will come with a set of nine art cards of main characters, with one of them randomly having a holographic finish. The teaser image for that version showed that Hibiki, Koharu, Koyo, Minami, Seiya, Sena, Toka, and Yukimaro will show up on those cards. You can see that first teaser image for the standard edition below. Image via Idea Factory International As a reminder, 9 RIP Sequel is essentially a fan disc that continues the Heavenly and Godly Routes from the first horror otome game. So we’ll see what happened after Misa Isshiki ended up with the ghostly and supernatural men she romanced in the original game. This entry also has a new Nine Wonders storyline with additional events that apparently unlock after going through the Heavenly Routes. 9 RIP Sequel will show up on the Switch in English on October 27, 2026, and the original horror game is already available on the console worldwide.
