The first trim was to finance the trade so there was no reason to take the additional trims. The better play in hindsight would have been to ride the moving in averages. And exit on a two-day close below the 10 ema since the position was respecting the 5 ema. Real-time Notes: 04/09 Entry 48.17 stop 47.11; Holding strong after yesterday’s FTD. 04/13 ADD ON TO POSITION ENTRY 49.94 STOP 47.11 meant to add 285 shares but only executed a 100 share entry. My thesis for selling along the way was that it was extended. Overall all the trade was profitable, but could have been managed better. Once a trade is financed, ride the averages and let go of "extended" thesis. Let the stock decide.
