Whether or not this means Holland’s Spider-Man will die in the franchise or simply retire remains to be seen.When Will Spider-Man Leave the MCU?As of 2026, Tom Holland has spent a full decade in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.He made his MCU debut in Captain America: Civil War (2016), when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) recruited the teenage Queens vigilante for the airport battle. Holland isn’t expected to appear in Avengers: Doomsday (2026), but he is thought to star in Avengers: Secret Wars (2027). Fans have also interpreted the post-credits scene as confirmation that the character will end up on Battleworld, with Ned’s Spidey Tracker showing him moving past Earth and the moon into space.It’s also thought that Brand New Day marks the beginning of a new trilogy for Spider-Man.
