Bear and Bam Bam Brown just shared rare family photos that give Alaskan Bush People fans an update on what most of the siblings look like in 2026. They reunited after the unfortunate passing of their brother Matt, and they all look so much different than they did during the show. As local tributes pour in and others share tributes, Bam Bam and Bear shared photos with each other and siblings Rain and Gabe. There's also their stepsister Twila Byars, who also paid tribute to Matt following his death by suicide. That said, this is a rare look at the family all together, as they've spread out since the show ended. I can't help but wonder if we'll see Alaskan Bush People return with a revival, which Bear Brown hinted was a possibility before his brother's death. It would be interesting to catch up with all they're up to these days, though in fairness, we already get a good bit of that on social media. Additionally, it seems they've all more or less given up on the dream of living off the grid on their own strip of land in the Alaskan wilderness. While the late patriarch Billy Brown was laser-focused on them running their own self-sustaining community, the children have set off on their own, and some of them have started their own families. Any revival would surely have a different vibe than what they did on the original series, unless they all committed to moving back to Alaska. As someone who watched, I think there's value in a new series that captures the Brown family as they are currently. I'm not entirely interested in the series covering their attempts to try and live off the grid as much as I am in the lives they're living now and how their experience on Alaskan Bush People impacted them. To me, their reintegration into society and all the struggles they've had along the way is infinitely more interesting than building the log cabins. Whether it'll happen seems to be in Discovery's hands. As Bear said, the series is not officially cancelled, so there is always an option to bring the show back. With reality television seemingly having a moment on television as of late, maybe we'll see it make a comeback or at least get a one-off special. Until that day comes, Alaskan Bush People remains available to stream over on HBO Max. It's good to see the siblings back together again, even if it's only for a short while.
