Part of that included confirmation of “three main endings” and no need to unlock any of those by completing the game at least once. However, there is one confirmed secret ending so far. Jon McKellan first went over how we will earn the differet Silent Hill: Townfall endings. The Screen Burn member noted different actions taken throughout the game will build up to one of the three options. The statement mentioned results “aren’t determined by a simple binary choice at the end.” It was Motoi Okamoto who mentioned we don’t need to unlock most Silent Hill: Townfall endings and brought up the secret one. He told Sony, “All three main endings can be reached right from your first playthrough, whereas the secret ending becomes accessible after clearing the game once. It follows a structure similar to the original Silent Hill and Silent Hill 2, meaning players won’t be forced to replay the game two or three times just to see all primary endings.” We should learn even more about Silent Hill: Townfall soon.
