Veteran musician Lord Fred Sebatta has expressed his willingness to collaborate with the new generation of artists on both fresh projects and revamped versions of his classic songs.However, Sebatta says such collaborations must be guided by the recently amended Copyright and Neighbouring Rights law to ensure all parties receive their rightful share of royalties generated from the music.The celebrated singer, who was crowned ‘Star of Africa’ in 1996/97, noted that many creatives are still unfamiliar with how the copyright law works despite its enactment.
