We’ll see another farming and life sim debut next month, as Starsand Island will leave early access on the PC and Xbox Series X and also show up on the Switch 2 and PS5 with a 1.0 build on August 18, 2026. Physical copies are also planned for the two new platforms. However, those won’t show up until November 12, 2026. That will cost $39.99 when it does debut. There’s also a new trailer to go along with the Starsand Island release date reveal. It features the character Solara offering an introduction to the farming life sim. After a brief introduction, we see her frantically dealing with major situations on the island involving farming, livestock, and other issues in the village. We also get to see some customization options and animals we can befriend. We do know some of the major features debuting in the 1.0 version of Starsand Island. The big one is the romance and relationship system is expanded, and we can now date 14 characters and see three and five-heart quests and events with them. The Autumn Pumpkin Carnival festival that seems vaguely Halloween-y will appear too. The game will also support multiplayer after the update, and going online to adventure or work with others will let you earn currency to spend in a dedicated multiplayer shop. The full version of Starsand Island will show up on the Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC on August 18, 2026. It is currently available in early access on the Xbox Series X and PC.
