I'm considering getting one of those root touch-up sticks with a brush applicator (for covering grey roots between colorings). My concern is my hairline — I have thin/sparse hair right at the forehead, so I'm worried the color might look patchy or too solid/fake there instead of blending naturally with the scalp. Has anyone with a similar thin hairline used this type of product? Does it actually blend well, or does it end up looking like an obvious block of color?
