Sharanappa visited several examination centres to review the arrangements, including facilities for candidates and measures adopted to prevent malpractice.Of the 15,702 candidates registered for the morning session, 14,942 appeared while 760 remained absent. In the afternoon session, 13,715 of the 14,370 registered candidates wrote the examination, with 655 absentees.CCTV surveillance, mobile jammers and other security measures were put in place at all examination centres.
