Michigan’s Democratic candidate for governor and current Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson can’t stop lying. In the past 23 days, the nation’s most dishonest secretary of state has told 3 huge lies, yet Michigan’s corporate media refuses to expose the truth to voters.MI SOS Jocelyn BensonLIE #1: On September 8, Jocelyn Benson shared a campaign video showing her standing in front of Lake Michigan and telling voters she would put a moratorium on data centers, suggesting that she would stand up for citizens who don’t want data centers forced on their communities with no input. The most non-transparent Secretary of State in the nation also promises “transparency.”As Governor, I will put a moratorium on data centers until we can get this right. We need to protect our environment, hold corporations accountable, and ensure these projects are done with union labor. pic.twitter.com/q9ujQXvjku— Jocelyn Benson (@JocelynBenson) September 8, 2026The Saline, Michigan, data center is arguably the most hotly contested data center that’s been installed without the consent of citizens to date. When Michigan residents found out that Jocelyn Benson’s husband Ryan Friedrichs was behind the data center, they were furious.Ryan Friedrichs, Jocelyn Benson’s husband, is a vice president at Related Companies, the parent of Related Digital, the outfit pushing the Saline Township data center. On a financial disclosure Benson herself filed in May 2026, he reported $370,000 in pay from that employer in 2025. He was a registered Michigan lobbyist for Related until he dropped the registration in May 2025. In March 2026, he announced he was changing roles and would no longer work on any Michigan projects.Benson’s campaign still says her family has not made any money from data centers. That is not true on her own paperwork. The disclosure she signed puts $370,000 from the data-center developer into her household for 2025. Related says that money was salary, not a commission on the Saline project. It was still paid for by the company building it, while he was working on Michigan projects. We asked Grok to confirm that Friedrichs was very much involved in the Saline Data Center that Jocelyn Benson is trying to say she’ll fight to keep out of communities.Grok responded: Ryan Friedrichs, VP at Related Companies (parent of Related Digital, developing the Saline Twp data center), handled stakeholder engagement. He personally delivered the July 2025 rezoning application for 575 acres and publicly advocated for it at local meetings that fall. Work on the project ran from early summer 2025 to Feb 2026; he then moved to a national role with no Michigan projects. The company says zero commissions from it.We asked a follow-up question: So, would it be disengenous of Jocelyn Benson to say she promises to be transparent about data centers if elected governor and to make sure citizens have a voice since she and her husband have already profited off the most hotly contested data center by citizens in Michigan?Grok responded: Ryan Friedrichs earned $370,000 from Related Companies in 2025 while delivering the Saline rezoning application and publicly advocating for the project against local opposition. The firm states he got zero commissions from it. Benson has said her family made no money from data centers yet now pledges open negotiations and public hearings for citizen input. The prior household income and advocacy role lead critics to question the consistency of those transparency commitments.LIE #2On September 24, Jocelyn Benson went on Morning Joe and lied to their small audience about the DOJ’s request to access Michigan’s voter rolls to remove non-citizens. “When Trump tries to steal your voter information and overturn our free and fair elections, do you want an election denier or an election defender?” she asked.“Steal your voter information” is not a true statement, since the Justice Department has sued multiple states over voter-roll records under federal election law in their effort to remove dead, duplicate voters, and non-citizens from the voter rolls. Benson was the dean of the Wayne State Law School; she knows a lawsuit and a records demand are not a burglary. Benson also knows a thing or two about stolen elections and knows that President Trump is trying to stop another Michigan election from being stolen. Why does @JocelynBenson keep lying? Why does no one in the local media fact-check her? She knows President Trump isn’t “stealing our elections” in Michigan.I’m helping to review all of the election documents from Detroit’s 2020 election. I can assure everyone, Jocelyn Benson… https://t.co/IyWYjMjUba pic.twitter.com/USXFKuBsln— PattyMI (@PattyLovesTruth) October 1, 2026We asked Grok if “President Trump” was “stealing the vote” because the DOJ asked for Michigan’s voter rolls to remove non-citizens?Here’s what Grok had to say: No. Formal DOJ requests (and lawsuits) for Michigan’s voter registration files to check list maintenance and remove non-citizens are not “stealing.” Courts ruled the unredacted data is not required under the cited statutes, but the process was a legal demand, not theft. We asked Grok a follow up question: So, is it true that Donald Trump is “stealing” Michigan’s elections because the DOJ asked for Michigan’s voter rolls to remove non-citizens or is that a lie?Grok responded: That’s a lie. DOJ issued formal requests and lawsuits seeking Michigan’s voter rolls to check list maintenance and remove ineligibles, including non-citizens. Courts held that the unredacted data was not required under the cited laws, but the process involved legal demands, not theft or stealing elections.LIE #3:This afternoon, Jocelyn Benson posted an MSNOW interview of herself and the angry Lawrence O’Donnell, where she explains how, if elected as Michigan’s next governor, she will go around President Trump to undo policies that Michigan voters elected him to enact related to tariffs on Canada.Grok confirmed for us that Jocelyn Benson is indeed lying in this video and that the Constitution doesn’t give her any of the power she claims to have to go around President Trump or Congress and “carve out” her own trade policy.Does Michigan really want a HABITUAL LIAR as their next governor? @grok confirms she’s lying in this CNN interview she just posted. Is she as stupid as everyone who works with her claims? Or does @JocelynBenson just believe Michigan voters are stupid enough to believe her? https://t.co/Enr3P5bPuI pic.twitter.com/TJAbAvxUna— PattyMI (@PattyLovesTruth) October 1, 2026What is it about the Michigan and national corporate media that causes them to hide outrageous lies by the most dishonest candidate for governor the Great Lakes State has ever seen? Aside from placing the final nail in the coffin of a state that after 8 years of having 3 Democrats in top government roles, AG Dana Nessel, SOS Jocelyn Benson and Governor Gretchen Whitmer, are 42nd in education with 76% of 8th graders not being proficient in math and 75% not being proficient in reading, and 50th in the nation for simple economy score, which includes 48th in unemployment, median household income at 37th in the nation and 40th in GDP per person. The post HERE THEY ARE: AI Confirms 3 Huge Lies In 23 Days Told By MI Dem Candidate For Governor Jocelyn Benson — Why Is Corporate Media Ignoring Them? appeared first on The Gateway Pundit.
