The Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train project has completed a 480-metre-long, 36-metre-high bridge over the Sabarmati River, the National High Speed Rail Corporation said Saturday. The bridge, supported by eight piers and featuring spans of up to 76 metres, uses the balanced cantilever method to cross the river without conventional scaffolding.
