I’ve been building small web tools for years, and every time I deploy something simple — a landing page, docs, a prototype — I end up dealing with CI/CD, build steps, YAML files, or some config that breaks for no reason. So I built Onyvo, a minimal hosting service focused on zero‑friction deploys. This service is now offered through my wife's business and it is one of the three services I have developed during past year. You upload your files → they’re instantly live → you get a URL → done. No builds. No pipelines. No config. Over time I added the things I personally needed: Current features Instant hosting (upload folder → live immediately) WebDAV access (edit files directly) Auto SSL Public API for programmatic deploys AI helpers (generate pages, edit content, create sections) Ready‑to‑use templates (blog, docs, landing pages, portfolio, etc.) Simple dashboard No build process, no CI/CD, no YAML Privacy & compliance Fully GDPR compliant Hosted exclusively in EU datacenters No US jurisdiction, no external data processors All data stays within the European Union This part turned out to matter a lot — many users asked for hosting that is actually EU‑only, not “EU region on a US cloud provider”. Why I built it I wanted hosting that behaves like “drag‑and‑drop → live” I wanted an API so I can deploy from scripts or other tools I wanted AI to help generate small pages quickly I wanted templates so I don’t start from zero every time I wanted something simpler than Netlify/Vercel for tiny projects And I wanted it fully EU‑based because clients keep asking for GDPR‑native hosting I’d really appreciate honest feedback — especially from people who deploy small projects often or need EU‑only hosting.
