A former freind of the family had a falling out with me and my wife because we wouldn't allow her to spend the weekends at our home so she could tutor her grandson. He is 5 and she along with her daughter refuses to put him in school because they will not cater to her every demand. In addition, she thought that even though she decided to homeschool him the school would provide teaching materials, Google Chromebook, have a teacher come into the home to work his IEP plan. In addition, she is part of a homeschool parent group on Facebook that has told her that since she has a child that is being homeschooled she can get the school district to pay for her home internet.
