Anyone have a severe delayed realization/reaction to your experiences?

Wait 5 sec.

I’m 10 years in, 15 if you count my time in EMS and just recently began to understand the gravity of all the things I’ve seen, done, and learned from nursing and being in the medical field Having worked on the truck, at a level 1 trauma ER, another inner city ER, and now behavioral health…..my mind is just now being blown by recounting all the people and stories that I remember. I ask this because I’m interested in trying to figure out what was different about my consciousness back then and why now? I haven’t figured out if all of these memories are impacting me negatively or not but so far I’m not feeling triggered/overwhelmed….just shocked Any of you guys have similar situations?? How commonly do you have very delayed understandings of your experiences? submitted by /u/sorrynotsorry7 [link] [comments]
