Every accountability app I tried had the same hole: you tell it how you did. Which means on a bad day you just… don't. So I built one that uses Apple's Screen Time API instead. You pick the apps you want to stay off, and your own device reports whether you actually did. There's nothing to log and nothing to fudge. It works in groups of up to 10. Weekly leaderboard of clean days, resets Monday. When someone slips it shows on the board and in the group feed. One deliberate limit: the group sees that you slipped and which app, never how long you were on it. That felt like the line between accountability and surveillance. Took longer than expected — it started as a two-person thing and I rebuilt it for groups, which broke more than I thought it would.
