Quest's Horizon+ subscription now offers free add-ons for games, plus Swarm 2 and Waltz of the Wizard are this month's monthly titles. In addition to the usual release of two monthly games, new games added to the catalog, and discounts on games in the Meta Horizon store, Horizon+ now offers subscribers free add-ons for games. The first free Horizon+ add-ons will unlock cosmetics and in-game currency to spend in Orion Drift, the massively multiplayer game from the makers of Gorilla Tag. Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked and Deadly Delivery also join the Horizon+ games catalog this month, and there are a few great discounts on some excellent experiences (including one of the best looking games on Quest). Let's take a closer look at the two Monthly Games for October 2026. 0:00 /1:14 1× Swarm 2 is a fast-paced roguelike shooter which features nearly as much grappling as it does shooting. With deadly guns and acrobatic grappling hooks, you zip through battlefields at breakneck speeds, blasting enemies in all directions. When we wrote about Swarm 2 back in 2024, we called it "Spiderman with guns!" 0:00 /1:34 1× Waltz of the Wizard is described by its creators as "a Reality Experience" where you can do anything you like, and in which you can speak to the game's NPCs, and they'll speak back to you realistically with thousands of reactions. Inside this "highly reactive" world, your wizard powers allow you to bend time, create and reshape objects, and conjure magical fireballs and storms. Horizon+ subscribers also get exclusive discounts on select games every month. The deals for October are: The Curious Tale of the Stolen Pets: 50% off the normal price.Red Matter 2: 50% off the normal price.Synth Riders gets two song discounts: Wonderland by Caravan Palace and Humble by Kendrick Lamar are 67% off for subscribers.
