An earthquake of magnitude 4.4 occurred just 14 minutes ago, 29 km southwest of Temuco, Chile, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) reported.The quake struck at a moderately shallow depth of 44.90 km beneath the epicenter near Temuco, Provincia de Cautín, Región de la Araucanía, Chile, on the morning of Sunday, October 4th, 2026, at 10:57 am local time.
