So this started because every time I cooked something new I'd have raw chicken or dough on my hands and need to scroll to the next step. Knuckle scrolling, elbow tapping, you know the drill. I made Lemme Cook. You paste a link to any recipe (or just paste the recipe text) and it pulls out the ingredients and steps without all the ads and the 2000 word story about someone's grandma. Then you hit start and just talk to it: - "next" / "back" / "go to step 4" - "read aloud" if you don't want to look at the screen - "set a timer for 10 minutes" (you can run a few at once) - "ingredients" to pull up the list mid-recipe It also keeps your screen from going to sleep, which honestly was half the reason I built it lol. It's just a website, no app to download and no account. 3 recipes a month are free and there's a paid plan if you want unlimited. Would love to hear what breaks. Recipe sites are all a little different so if you find one that doesn't parse right, let me know and I'll fix it. https://www.lemmecook.xyz/ submitted by /u/SnooPears8815 [link] [comments]
